Wilder
Wilder š¾
One day, Wilder simply walked out of the woods and appeared at a rural home in Jones County, Mississippi.
Then he collapsed.
The homeowner contacted our rescue because he couldnāt move. Since we couldnāt immediately reach him, she rushed him to an emergency veterinarianāand we prepared ourselves for the worst.
But Wilder wasnāt dying. He was suffering from tick paralysis.
After receiving treatment, Wilder was released and has made a beautiful recovery. He has been living inside with his foster family, where he has proven to be house trained, wonderful with other dogs and loving the child in the home.
This sweet boy wandered out of the woods with absolutely nothing leftāand now heās healthy, happy and ready for the home he was somehow strong enough to keep searching for.
