We do NOT have a foster to adopt program. We have adjustment time built into our adoption policies to ensure that dogs are in the right home and to help make sure it’s the perfect fit! We do not let fosters determine which dog they will foster, we decide which dog would be a good fit based on the application process. If the goal is to adopt a dog, please do NOT fill out a foster application, instead go to the adoption application. Feel free to message the rescue with questions!

Please note, our applications work best on a desktop or laptop!

The Foster Expectations is a Word document, and will open in a new window. If you are having trouble opening it, please message the rescue and we will gladly email it to you!

Training Tips is the place for all dog owners to check out. You don’t have to have adopted from our rescue, or even fostered for us. The goal is not only to make the transition for our animals and the people who love them a safe, loving and rewarding experience, but to make sure that that everyone who has a dog can benefit from access to helpful tips and videos!

If you are an approved foster (past or present) for our rescue and have not yet joined the Facebook page dedicated to making fostering the best experience possible for both the families who do it and the dogs that love them, please use the button above to send us an email and we will send you the direct link to join!

Facebook Tips!

The best dog pictures are taken with your phone on portrait mode, and down on their level. They are cute when they are belly up snoozing, but that won’t get them adopted as quick! Get them to sit, then get them to look at you with a squeaky toy or a treat, those work the best!

Step One: When you click on “what’s on your mind, it will open up a new window that says “Create Post”.

Step 2: Here is where you need to change the audience to “Public”, otherwise noone outside of your page can see it. Don’t forget to change it back for your own personal posts though!

Step 3: To tag the rescue, start typing @BlessedBetheBullies. Our name should pop up for you to choose. You’ll know you’ve done it right when our name appears in blue highlight.

Final Steps:

Type up what you want to say! Let us know their likes, dislikes, etc. Are they crate trained? House broken? Good with kids? Do they ride well? What would you like to know if you were going to be looking for a dog? Give LOTS of details. The more details you give with good photos, the quicker they will be adopted. Click the green button to add photos or even video! Don’t forget to click post at the bottom.

Don’t forget to tell people to go to our website to put in an application. You can copy this to make it easy to do. Simply cut and paste the following sentence into your post:

To put in an application please go to www.blessedbethebullies.com and click on the adopt tab
