Meet Gracie! 🤍

Gracie is a sweet, gentle girl with an old soul and a heart full of love. At around 2 years old, she’s mastered the art of being the perfect couch companion. While she’ll happily zoom around the yard for a few minutes, she’s just as happy relaxing on the porch, soaking up the sunshine, watching the world go by, and collecting as many belly rubs as you’ll give her.

Gracie is fully potty trained, crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and already knows several commands including sit, come, stay, and down. She’s the kind of dog who makes settling into a new home easy.

Car rides are another favorite—as long as they’re smooth! She usually curls up in the backseat, occasionally getting up every few miles to deliver a quick kiss before settling back down for the rest of the ride. Bumpy, winding backroads aren’t her favorite, as they can upset her stomach.

Gracie currently lives with cats in her foster home. She may bark and run toward them out of excitement or curiosity, but she responds well to redirection. She’s also met chickens and handled the encounter like a champ, showing interest while listening well when it was time to move along.

When it comes to other dogs, Gracie has her save spot, Davis. She’s also been slowly introduced to younger resident dogs and continues to do well with patient introductions. At an adoption event, she met children and, while a little shy at first, showed everyone that she’s simply a flower waiting to blossom with the right family.

If Gracie could make one wish, it would be for a forever home filled with love, cozy naps, and 24-hour belly rubs. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who’s equal parts affectionate, calm, and incredibly sweet, Gracie just might be your perfect match.
