Gojo

Meet Gojo! 🐾

DOB: 10/22/2024

Breed: Great Pyrenees/Husky Mix

At around 80 pounds of fluffy love, Gojo is the perfect combination of playful energy and gentle affection. He’s an active young dog who enjoys running, playing fetch, and stretching his legs in the backyard—but after about 10 minutes of fun, he’s usually ready to come back inside and relax with his people.

Gojo is crate trained, potty trained, and trustworthy when left out of his crate. He walks nicely on a leash with minimal pulling (unless a squirrel makes an appearance!) and already knows how to sit on command. He’s also very food motivated, eagerly finishes every meal, and never turns down a tasty treat. His favorite toys are heavy-duty chew bones.

He’s quite the communicator and isn’t shy about letting you know when it’s time to eat or when he’d like to go outside. Because Gojo enjoys chewing, blankets and crate beds aren’t recommended, as he tends to eat them.

Gojo was a perfect gentleman for the groomer and enjoys being brushed, making grooming an easy part of his routine.

When meeting new people, Gojo can be a little cautious at first. Give him a few minutes and a kind, gentle approach, and he quickly realizes he’s made a new friend. Around children, he has occasionally seemed unsure simply because they’re less familiar to him, but he has never shown any unsafe behavior and continues to gain confidence with positive interactions.

Gojo does well with most other dogs, though he would likely be happiest paired with a female canine companion. He has also shown appropriate curiosity around cats, walking past them and sniffing without attempting to chase.

If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, fluffy best friend who enjoys adventures, loves his family, and will happily tell you when dinner is served, Gojo may be the perfect addition to your home!
