Tom’s journey hasn’t been the easiest. He and his siblings were found abandoned in Mississippi, left to fend for themselves. Because of that, he’s a little shy when meeting new people—but honestly, who could blame him?

The best part? Once Tom realizes he’s safe, his sweet, loving personality starts to bloom. He absolutely craves love and affection… he just needs a patient family willing to let him move at his own pace. Watching him gain confidence is incredibly rewarding, and every tail wag and cuddle feels like a huge win.

Tom also does well with other dogs with proper introductions, and his small size makes him an easy companion to take just about anywhere.
