Polar

Polar (aka Tonka)- this is a young male, weighing in at 44 pounds. He is playful and loving.

He was found on the side of the road after what we assume was being hit by a car. It was determined that he more than likely was used as a bait dog. He was recently attacked by another dog, requiring overnight emergency vet care for shock and multiple injuries. For these reasons we are asking he be an only pet at this time. He also will chase cats, groundhogs or any small animals!

Despite his awful past history, this boy is resilient and brings so much love and joy to every day! You would have no idea what he’s been through!

He loves toys, all toys! Loves to play fetch, take walks and get praise. He has a huge love for peanut butter. He’s good on a leash, and loves to run and get his zoomies out. He is crate trained, house trained and will be vocal when he has to go out!

This boy is affectionate, loves every single person he meets and has made huge improvements on his jumping. He still does jump some and nibbles when he gets overly excited…definitely not in an angry aggressive way.

At this point would recommend older kids as he is strong and his love for playing and jumping could be a bit much for smaller kids.

His fosters would like you to know that he has such a good personality, he takes a little time to feel comfortable enough to relax and snuggle, but once he does, he gives the best cuddles and puppy kisses! He needs someone who will spend time with him and give him a chance to really shine! He thrives on affection and praise!

If you could be the person to help this boy shine, please apply for Polar at blessedbethebullies.com
