Meet Stella, Goldie, Max, Fluffy and Big Boy.

They’re coming to us from a shelter in Lexington, Mississippi, where they’ve spent far too much of their young lives simply…waiting.

Waiting for someone to notice them.

Waiting for a rescue to say yes.

Waiting while puppyhood quietly slips by behind kennel doors.

There isn’t some dramatic headline attached to them. They aren’t exotic. They aren’t tiny bottle babies. They don’t have a viral story.

They’re just sweet, social, affectionate pups who somehow kept getting passed over because they’re “plain.”

Meanwhile, they continue to grow up in a shelter, watching people walk by.

We’ve been told they’re lap babies. Friendly. Easygoing. The kind of dogs who are happy just to be near their people.

That should be enough.
