Annie
πΎ Meet Annie πΎ
π Female
π DOB: October 9, 2023
Annie is a sweet, resilient girl with the biggest heart once she trusts you π After coming from a rough past, sheβs learned that people can be kind and safe β and sheβs doing AMAZING. She just needs patient humans willing to move at her pace.
β¨ Annieβs Favorites:
πΏ Adventures (as long as no car rides are involved π)
ποΈ Lounging around with her people
πΆ Playing with other dogs
π¦ Shredding cardboard for fun
π Quiet, calm environments
π Car rides are very stressful for Annie and can make her sick, so a home where frequent travel isnβt necessary would be best.
π Annie has excellent leash manners and walks beautifully on a harness! Collars make her uncomfortable due to her past , so sheβll need to continue using a harness.
π‘ Annie is:
β Completely housebroken
β Great with kids (babies through young adults)
β Great with cats
β Great with dogs of all sizes
β Non-destructive in the house
β Knows βsitβ and βcomeβ
π« Annie does NOT do well in crates. She spent much of her life confined in one and will completely shut down if crated. Thankfully, sheβs trustworthy in the home and does wonderfully left out.
π Additional Info:
β’ Takes 40mg Prozac daily
β’ In line to be spayed & get UTD on vaccines
β’ Eats 4Health Chicken & Rice food (diet changes upset her stomach)
π When meeting Annie:
Please move slowly and allow her time to warm up. Men can make her nervous at first, but sitting down calmly and letting her approach on her own helps tremendously. She also prefers treats placed on the floor rather than handed directly to her.
Annie has come such a long way and deserves a patient, loving family who will continue helping her feel safe and cherished πΎπ
